This type of provider is required to be registered with the county they are providing in. They have to be at least 18 years old, provides care to only related children, and/or provides care for children from a single unrelated family at one time. They must be certified in First Aid and CPR. They can also take child care assistance from the family they are caring for as long as the provider does not live at the same residence.
